When does Brock University send acceptances?

Now that you’ve applied to your dream university, here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Activate your my.brocku.ca portal 🖥 Within 1-2 business days of applying to Brock University, you will receive an acknowledgement email providing you information on how to access your my.brocku.ca student portal, where you can:
  • Upload any transcripts or documents requested by an Admissions Officer (if applicable)
  • View what documents have arrived and been processed
  • Complete the OneApp – one application for hundreds of Brock scholarships, awards, and bursaries
  • Accept your offer of admission (if you did not apply via OUAC)
  • Update your personal information
  • Complete the residence application

To activate your my.brocku.ca portal, please follow these three simple steps.

  • Step 1 First things first, grab your acknowledgement email and make a note of your campus ID.
  • Step 2 Click the “Activate Now” button in your acknowledgement email.
  • Step 3 Enter your campus ID and date of birth in their respective fields and follow the prompts to activate your account. Once you have created your password, be sure to write it down for future reference.

How to Submit your Documents

Log into your my.brocku.ca student portal and check the document status window for any documents the Admissions Office requires. The sooner you submit your documents, the sooner you will receive a decision and any potential transfer credit(s).

Unofficial documents may be sufficient in order to receive a decision on your application, but an official version of the documents will be required to complete your file.

When uploading unofficial documents, please ensure your full name and the institution name are legible on the documents. You must report all previous academics.

Check your my.brocku.ca student portal regularly for any additional document requests by Admissions. All decisions and any potential transfer credit will also be communicated here.

Accept your offer 📨

If you applied to Brock University through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC), you must accept an offer of admission by June 1, 2022 on your OUAC applicant portal. Any other applicants will need to accept their offer through their my.brocku.ca student portal.

  • Accept Your Offer Through OUAC

In order to accept your offer through the OUAC, you will need your OUAC reference number and the password you created when you submitted your application. If you don’t remember your OUAC reference number, check-in with your school’s Guidance Counsellor.

Once you are logged in, navigate to your offers of admission.

Select the offer you would like to accept.

Complete the acceptance form, and you’re done!

Visit my.brocku.ca and log in using your Brock email and password.

Once you have logged in, click on your application status under the Application Status heading, and get the full details of your application status at Brock University.

Click on the (click to see more…) link under the Application Status heading, and the full details of your offer will appear.

Select Accept under the Respond to Your Offer heading, click the Submit Response **button, and you’re done!Congratulations on accepting your offer of admission to Brock University!

Prepare to finance your education 💸

Your education at Brock is one of the best investments you’ll ever make! The university wants to recognize your achievements and help you to meet your financial needs. With a combination of Brock awards and bursaries and available government support, they’ll help you develop a plan to make your education at Brock affordable and manageable. Simply complete the university’s OneApp before April 15, 2022 to be considered for awards valued up to $20,000 and bursaries up to $3,000. Apply early to increase your chances of winning! OSAP If you’re looking for ways to offset the costs of university, there are several tools available to you. The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is the most common way to help pay for your education. Ontario students are encouraged to apply for OSAP before June 30, 2022 to ensure that their loan is processed on time. Check Brock University’s cost estimator here to begin planning your budget now!

Apply for a space in residence 🏘

Brock is pleased to guarantee a space in residence to all new, full-time undergraduate students beginning in Fall 2022, who meet their residence application conditions.

The residence guarantee applies only if both the residence application and fee are received by June 1, 2022

Do You Have an Admission Average of 90% or higher?

Tell the university where you’d like to live! If you have an admission average of 90% or higher, you may choose which of the university’s residences you’d like to live in during your first year at Brock. In order to do so, simply follow normal application procedures, then be sure to email [email protected] prior to June 1, 2022 to indicate your preference. Oh, and don’t worry — you don’t need to accept your offer before applying for residence!

Plan your schedule and register for your courses 🗓

Plan early to maximize your chances of getting the courses you want and when you want them. Check for specific registration dates at brocku.ca/registrar/guides-and-timetable. It is important to register for your courses prior to arriving to begin your studies at Brock.

Determine your fees 💰

After you have registered for your courses, you may view your assessment through your Student Financial History while logged into your portal at my.brocku.ca. This includes tuition as well as any residence or meal plan fees to be paid. Brock does not mail paper statements. It is your responsibility to check your statements via your student portal at my.brocku.ca. Watch this video to know how to pay your fees at Brock University!
