Dalhousie University is a public research university in Nova Scotia, Canada, with three campuses in Halifax, the capital of the province. Founded in 1818 as a college of arts and sciences, the university grants undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 180 programs. The university is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian research universities. Offering more than 4,000 courses and 100 degrees in 12 faculties, the university operates more than 40 research centres and institutes.
