The Libraries hold over two million books, journals, and other materials, including electronic resources such as databases, e-books, and e-journals. In addition to traditional print resources, the Libraries offer a range of services such as research consultations, workshops on using library resources, and course-related instruction sessions.

The libraries are usually open late and open on weekends, making them accessible to students who have busy schedules. The Libraries also provide study spaces, computer workstations, and printers for students to use. What McMaster Library Branches Exist?

McMaster University has four library branches – the H.G. Thode, Mills, Innis, and Health Sciences Libraries. The H.G. Thode Library is the largest of the four, and it houses the main stacks, periodicals, and reserve collections. The Mills Library is located in the McMaster Student Centre, and it primarily contains bookable study spaces, computers, and photocopiers. The Innis Library is dedicated to the arts and humanities, and it features comfortable seating areas, a cafe, and an extensive collection of art books. Finally, the Health Sciences Library is located in McMaster’s Medical Centre, and it provides resources and services for students in health-related programs. All four branches offer a variety of services and resources for McMaster students, staff, and faculty.
