UBC offers a variety of residence options for students, including exchange residences, student housing, and bus exchange programs. Exchange residences are a great way to meet other students worldwide and experience different cultures. Student housing is available for students who want to live on campus and offers a variety of amenities and services. The bus exchange program provides an easy way for students to get around campus and to/from classes. Residences at UBC
The University of British Columbia has a variety of different residence buildings which cater to the diverse needs of its students. Here are some of the highlights for undergraduate students. Brock Commons is the tallest mass timber building in the world and provides student housing and academic space. The Octopus House is an environmentally sustainable residence that is also home to the UBC Aquatic Centre. Walter Gage is one of the largest residences on campus and provides students with a variety of services and amenities. Sturgeon House is an all-girls residence that offers a supportive and inclusive community for its residents. Pacific Residences is a new development that will provide students with state-of-the-art facilities and breathtaking views of Vancouver. There is also the Herring House, Orca House and the Sea Otter House among several other residential buildings. No matter what your needs are, UBC has a residence option for you.
UBC offers a number of student residence buildings for graduate students, each with different features and amenities. Busby Hall offers student apartments with private kitchens and bathrooms, while Totem Park Residence provides suite-style living with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Gage Towers is a co-ed residence that features both single and double occupancy rooms, while Marine Drive Residence is a women-only facility. All of the student residence buildings are located close to the UBC bus exchange, making it easy for students to get around campus.
