St. Francis Xavier Engineering: Overview

StFX engineering is a unique and challenging program, which provides students with the opportunity to learn about various engineering disciplines while working on projects that address real-world problems. The curriculum is designed to give students a strong foundation in mathematics and the physical sciences, while also providing them with the skills necessary to work effectively in teams. As a result, graduates are well-prepared to enter the workforce or pursue further education. StFX engineering is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), and graduates of the program are eligible to receive professional engineering licensure in Canada. Program graduates have gone on to successful careers in a variety of fields, including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, and manufacturing.

StFX Engineering Acceptance Rate
The program’s acceptance rate is roughly under 50%. StFX has a competitive admissions process- in order to be considered for admission, applicants must have an average of at least 80% in addition to presenting a strong portfolio. St. Francis Xavier University is one of the top undergraduate engineering programs in Canada. The program focuses on providing students with a solid foundation in math and science while also teaching them how to apply this knowledge to real-world engineering problems.
