Why Choose University of Victoria Fine Arts?
You’ll discover an open, supportive, and creative environment at UVic’s Faculty of Fine Arts, where you may learn fundamental skills in hands-on artistic production, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and research.

They also offer a variety of interdisciplinary courses, programs and electives ranging from Digital and Interactive Media in the Arts to technology and society, as well as combined computer science degrees.
Fine Arts students at U of Victoria have access to cutting-edge, purpose-built facilities, as well as visual resources such as the Digital Image Collection Online (DIDO) and Studios for Integrated Media, where the latest technology is available for film and music editing, book and magazine creation, video production, photography, and more.
You’ll discover new levels of creative entrepreneurship by interacting with award-winning instructors and a huge workforce of working experts. Professors will do more than simply coach you and develop your skills; They’ll help you shape your future!
What can you do with a degree in Fine Arts?
A fine arts education will provide you with the skills you’ll need to succeed in today’s fast-paced environment. Our curricula emphasize critical and creative thinking, as well as communication and teamwork. Each programmes’ method is based on experiential learning, and it is at the centre of all we do—in Fine Arts, you learn by doing.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at UVic will inspire and educate you for life and leadership in the twenty-first century, regardless of your chosen path.

All entering students must meet certain academic and admission requirements to be eligible for specific programs in the Fine Arts Faculty, as well as any UVic entrance scholarships.

Tuition and Scholarships:
Below is an estimate, in Canadian dollars, for the tuition of a Canadian/permanent resident student interested in the Undergraduate Fine Arts program:
Including the extra ancillary fees, tuition for four years in the Fine Arts at the University of Victoria is approximately $27,120. This is s big investment— good thing U of Vic has more than $3.5 million in entrance scholarships to undergraduate students who are new to the university!
Scholarships are non-repayable awards given to students who have excelled academically. There are also scholarships specifically for international students, Indigenous students and students with disabilities.
There are also in-course scholarships and awards, which do not require an application (unless otherwise specified) and are awarded on the basis of academic merit or department nomination.
