UofC Cultural Clubs

The University of Calgary offers a variety of cultural clubs to help students feel connected to their heritage and culture. There is a club for everyone from the African Students Association to the Caribbean Students Association. These clubs provide a sense of community for students and offer a chance to learn more about other cultures. For example, the Chinese Students Association often hosts events that teach students about traditional Chinese culture and cuisine. Similarly, the Indian Students Association organizes events that showcase Indian music, dance, and fashion. By joining a cultural club, students can better understand the world around them.

Athletic Clubs

The University of Calgary offers a wide variety of Athletic Clubs for students to join. There are clubs for nearly every sport, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, and more. There are also clubs for non-traditional sports like ultimate frisbee and quidditch. Joining an Athletic Club is a great way to meet new people and stay active. Most clubs have weekly practices and occasional tournaments or games. Some clubs even travel to compete against other schools. In addition to being a lot of fun, Athletic Clubs can also help students develop important skills like teamwork and leadership. If you’re looking for a way to get involved on campus, joining an Athletic Club is a great option.
