The UofC Libraries are world-class and provide an excellent resource for students who want to succeed in their studies. What Do the UofC Libraries have to offer?
UofC Libraries has so much to offer its students! From quiet study spaces to hundreds of books and magazines, UofC Libraries is the perfect place to visit when you need to get some work done. The staff is always friendly and happy to help, and they offer a wide range of services, including photocopying, scanning, and printing. UofC Libraries also has an extensive online catalogue that you can access from anywhere in the world. Whether you’re looking for a place to study or somewhere to find your next great read, UofC Libraries is the perfect spot.
What UofC Library Branches Exist?
The University of Calgary has five different library branches that cater to the varying needs of its students. The different branches include the Bennet Jones Law Library, Doucette Library, Business Library, Gallagher Library, and Health Sciences Library. The Main Library is the largest of the branches and contains over two million books, making it one of the biggest libraries in Alberta. It also offers a variety of study spaces, including private study rooms and a 24-hour silent study area. In contrast, the Science Library is focused on providing resources for students in STEM fields. In addition to a large collection of print and electronic resources, the library offers 3D printing services and a maker space. No matter what their needs, University of Calgary students can find a library branch that suits them.
