UofT Nursing Admission Requirements

Prior to acceptance, a student must have successfully completed two years of study (equal to at least 10.0 U of T credits) from a recognized undergraduate university programme and earned at least a B average (roughly 75 percent /3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale) in the most recent 5.0 credits.

A maximum of 3.0 credits from the two years of study completed (10.0 credits) can be at the 100/first-year level.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is extremely competitive, and fulfilling the minimum criteria does not guarantee acceptance.

What is the UofT Nursing Admission Average?

A minimum grade of 75% (B or 3.0 GPA) in the most recent 5.0 credits when you apply is needed. The BScN programme is extremely competitive in terms of admission, and most successful candidates have a B+ or better grade average in their most recent 5.0 credits. We recommend that you strive for an average in the high 80s for a competitive application average!
