BCIT Nursing’s Acceptance Rate
The British Columbia Institute of Technology’s (BCIT) School of Nursing is one of the most competitive nursing programs in the province. With an acceptance rate of just over 20%, it is important for prospective students to put their best foot forward when applying. The good news is that there are a few things that applicants can do to improve their chances of being accepted. First, be sure to have a strong Grade 12 academic record, including courses in English, Math, and the sciences. Second, complete any prerequisite courses required for admission. And finally, try to obtain some relevant work experience or volunteer in a healthcare setting. By taking these steps, you’ll increase your chances of being accepted into BCIT’s School of Nursing and becoming a registered nurse.
