Some of these include registration deadlines, application deadlines, orientation dates, and start and end dates for classes. Students need to be aware of these important dates to plan their schedules accordingly and make the most of their time at UofT.

Important Dates for UofT First-Year Students

July 4, 2022

Fall and Winter course enrolment start times are available on ACORN for Arts & Science students (all years)

July 11 – July 27, 2022

Course enrolment priority period for Faculty of Arts & Science students

July 21, 2022

First day of Fall and Winter course enrolment for first-year students (fewer than 4.0 credits)

July 29, 2022

General enrolment period for Faculty of Arts & Science students begins

August 3, 2022

First day of course enrolment for St. George campus (downtown) students who are not enrolled the Faculty of Arts & Science

August 3, 2022

First day of course enrolment for non-degree Arts & Science students

August 5, 2022

Course enrolment for other campuses opens at 6 am. Arts & Science students can add UTM/UTSC courses, and UTM/UTSC students can add Arts & Science courses.

August 31, 2022

Tuition fee payment/deferral deadline for the Fall/Winter session
