The Most Important Part of Your UVIC Application
The University of Victoria Admissions sees many great applications every year. Many students wonder what the most important part of their application is. The answer is the essay. The University of Victoria Admissions does not require essays for admission, but they are highly encouraged. The Admissions Committee looks at your essay to get a better sense of who you are as a person and what you will bring to the University community. The University of Victoria Admissions recommends that you take the time to write a well-thought-out and honest essay. Be sure to proofread your essay before you submit it. The University of Victoria Admissions hopes that your essay will give them a better understanding of who you are and why you want to attend the University of Victoria.
University of Victoria Admissions Requirements
The University of Victoria requires all undergraduate applicants to have a secondary school diploma or equivalent. As well, students must complete requirements in English, Math, and Science, as well as any additional program-specific requirements.
In order to be eligible for admission, students must also present a minimum number of Grade 12 academic courses. The number of courses required will depend on the student’s educational background and the degree they are applying to.
