Exchange at McGill

Exchange is a competitive program that allows McGill students to study abroad at one of McGill’s over 70 partner institutions. Students in all programs and years are eligible to apply, except for those on a leave of absence or exchange. Students pay McGill tuition and continue to receive McGill scholarships and financial aid. Students remain enrolled at McGill throughout their exchange and receive a transcript for the courses taken abroad. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and must be in good academic and disciplinary standing to be eligible to apply. The deadline to apply for exchange is usually in early November for exchanges taking place the following academic year.
