Queen’s Grants: Overview
Matthew Tran - June 28th, 2022
Queen’s offers a variety of financial aid options to help students cover the cost of tuition, books, and other expenses. Queen’s Grants are need-based grants that do not have to be repaid. To be eligible for a Queen’s Grant, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Queen’s also offers merit-based scholarships, awarded based on a student’s academic achievement. In addition, Queen’s offers loans and work-study programs. Loans must be repaid-with interest, while work-study provides students with the opportunity to earn money to help pay for their education.
What Queen’s Grants Are Available?
Queen’s University offers several major admission awards to students entering Queen’s from high school. Queen’s Grants are based on academic excellence and are reserved for students who demonstrate superior academic achievement. Grants are usually offered on the basis of merit-based achievement, not financial aid. Several are available to students, including the Queen’s Bank Of Montreal Award.
Why Should You Apply For a Queen’s Grant?
Queen’s Grants are a form of financial aid awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence. Queen’s Grants can be used to cover the cost of tuition, books, and other expenses related to your education. In addition, Queen’s Grants are renewable, meaning that you can receive funding for multiple years of your education. Queen’s Grants are an excellent way to finance your education, and they can give you the opportunity to attend a school that you may not have otherwise been able to afford.
