Economics and Management Science

Entrepreneurship

  • Start a business, build a long-term business, or add innovation and entrepreneurial skills to an existing firm. Toronto Metropolitan University offers more undergraduate entrepreneurship courses than any other Canadian institution, and they are widely recognized as a world leader in entrepreneurship education. Their lecturers have a wealth of real-world expertise and work with student businesses on a daily basis.

Global Management Studies

  • In today’s marketplace, situations occurring across the world have an impact on all firms. In Global Management Studies, you’ll learn how to lead in the changing global corporate environment by developing management abilities and cultural awareness.

Toronto Metropolitan University Business Management Admission Requirements

Below are the requirements you must meet in high school before you apply to Toronto Metropolitan University Business Management.

Ontario Secondary School Requirements:

You must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program-specific requirements:

  • English/Anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • Mathematics (one of Calculus and Vectors [MCV4U], Advanced Functions [MHF4U] or Mathematics of Data Management [MDM4U])
  • MCV4U is the preferred mathematics course
  • Note: the minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition

Toronto Metropolitan University Business Management Admission Average:

All direct-entry undergraduate applicants to Toronto Metropolitan University must have a minimum entrance average of 70%. However, we strongly advise you to strive for a 90 percent average for admission; this average is more competitive and will help you win a position at Metropolitan ahead of other candidates!
