U of T Entrance Awards

The U of T Entrance Awards recognize the academic achievements of high school students who are entering undergraduate programs at the University of Toronto. There are over 5,000 undergraduate admission awards that total nearly $25 million at the University of Toronto, along with its faculties, campuses, and college awards each year!

These awards are based on academic excellence and are therefore highly competitive. Eligible high school students (including international candidates) are usually automatically considered for a variety of entrance scholarships when they apply to U of T. Awards and cut-offs vary by division, faculty and college. The majority of entrance awards are awarded automatically upon your admission; a separate application is not required for these merit-based admission awards!

There are two types of U of T Entrance Awards: major entrance awards and minor entrance awards. Major entrance awards are usually worth a minimum of $5,000, while minor entrance awards are usually worth a minimum of $1,000.
