UBC Meal Plan: Overview

UBC offers a variety of meal plan options to suit the needs of students, faculty, and staff. The UBC Meal Plan is a convenient and cost-effective way to enjoy healthy and delicious meals on campus. With a UBC Meal Plan, you can choose from a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, including the university’s food services outlets. You can also use your meal plan to purchase food at participating off-campus locations. The university’s food services offer several different meal plan options, including the Flexible Meal Plan, the All-Access Meal Plan, and the 10-Meal Plan.
UBC Residence Meal Plan
UBC offers a variety of meal plans for students living in residence. The meal plan is an all-you-care-to-eat dining program that provides access to UBC Food Services dining locations across campus. The Full Meal Plan is the most popular option, as it provides the greatest flexibility and value. It includes access to all UBC Food Services dining locations, as well as $499.50 in Dining Dollars that can be used at any participating food vendor on campus. This plan is mandatory for residents of Place Vanier, Totem and Orchard Commons.
How Does the UBC Meal Plan Work?
There are three meal plans to choose from: Residence Meal Plan, UBCcard Value Plan and the Departmental Food Plan. Prices vary, and you can find more information here.
What Type of Food is Offered on the UBC Meal Plan?
The university offers a variety of food options for students who are on the meal plan. There are several different restaurants on campus, as well as a grocery store. The food at the restaurants is generally healthy and there is a wide range to choose from. There are also several vegan and vegetarian options available. The grocery store offers a variety of food items, including fresh vegetables and fruit, meats, milk, and bread. UBC also has a catering service that provides meals for events and functions. Catering can be ordered online or by calling the office. UBC’s food services are designed to meet the needs of all students.
