UofT UTSU is the University of Toronto Students’ Union. UTSU’s members are all undergraduate students at the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. UTSU exists to represent and champion the interests of its members, providing them with academic, social, financial, and legal support. UTSU also runs a variety of programs and services designed to enhance the student experience. UTSU is governed by an elected executive and Board of Directors, who are accountable to the membership through regular town halls and other forms of consultation. UTSU is proud to be a democratic, membership-based organization that puts students first.

UofT UTSU Benefits

The University of Toronto Students’ Union (UTSU) provides a number of benefits to members. These include health and dental insurance, a food bank and free legal advice. The UTSU also represents students’ interests at the university level, advocating for improved mental health services and more affordable tuition. In addition, the UTSU runs a number of programs and services that aim to improve the student experience. These include a free shuttle bus service, discounted tickets to campus events and a resource centre for international students. By becoming a member of the UTSU, students can take advantage of these benefits and play a role in shaping the future of their university.

How to Be Apart of UTSU?

Any full-time or part-time undergraduate student automatically becomes a member of the UTSU when they pay their ancillary fees. Members can also get involved with the UTSU by running in elections, joining Committees, or volunteering for Events. There are also a number of paid opportunities available, such as becoming an Executive Board member, working at the UTSU’s office, or serving on one of the Union’s many committees.
