Simon Fraser University is a public research university located in British Columbia, Canada. SFU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including arts and sciences, business, engineering, health sciences, and education. What Does the SFU Library have to offer?

SFU Libraries provide access to a wide range of resources, including books, journals, databases, and e-resources. SFU Libraries also has a number of Special Collections, which include the SFU Archives, the Rare Books Collection, and the SFU Art Collection.

SFU Libraries offer a wide range of student services, including reference services, research assistance, course reserves, interlibrary loans, document delivery, and much more! In addition to its physical locations, SFU Libraries also provides access to a variety of online resources, such as e-books, e-journals, and more.

The Libraries also provide study spaces, meeting rooms, MakerSpaces, and other facilities for students and faculty. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to study or want to collaborate with others on a project, the Simon Fraser University Libraries are there to help!

What SFU Library Branches Exist?

Simon Fraser University Libraries is comprised of 3 libraries which are located across all three Simon Fraser University campuses: Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver.

Below you can find information about the three SFU Libraries:

1. The WAC Bennett Library or Bennett, which is located on the Burnaby Mountain Campus and is the main SFU Library.

2. The Belzberg Library or Belzberg, located in downtown Vancouver.

3. The Fraser Library or Fraser, located in Surrey.

The W.A.C. Bennett Library is the main library on the Burnaby campus with an endless amount of student resources, a silent study floor, printers, lounges, and lab spaces. The Belzberg Library, located on the Surrey campus, opened in 2011 and provides students with access to a variety of study spaces, bookable collaboration rooms, and computer labs. Then, the Fraser Library is a twenty-five thousand square foot library that includes a gaming room, the Yosef Wosk Student Learning Commons, a screening room, PC, MAC, and laptop computers, and a study space for groups, quiet, and silent study rooms.
